Technology Partners, Not Just Providers
Litefoot Technology is a Chattanooga-based Managed IT and Security Services company founded in 2014. We specialize in Managed IT Services, Managed Security, Risk Intelligence, SIEM Monitoring, External Vulnerability Scans, and Endpoint Detection & Response — all while keeping your business compliant with HIPAA, NIST, and PII standards. Our goal is simple: do it right, save you money, and protect your reputation.
How Litefoot Began
When Vince Brannan set out to build an IT company, he knew one thing for certain: he did not want it named after himself. He had no desire for self-glorification — he wanted something that would outlast him, something that captured the core of what a company should truly represent.
For months, nothing felt right. Then came a day that changed everything. Vince found himself facing a challenge he knew he could not handle alone. In that moment, an old poem came to mind — one that reminded him he was not in this struggle by himself.
The poem told the story of a man walking along a beach with the Lord, watching scenes from his life flash across the sky. In each scene, two sets of footprints marked the sand. But during the hardest, lowest moments of his life, there was only one set. When the man asked why he was abandoned during those times, the Lord replied: "During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
That image — the footprint — became the heart of the company. Vince realized that Litefoot should be there when a client is having their worst day with technology. When they are at their wits' end and need to be carried until they are back in production with all their data intact. That Litefoot would be good stewards of their clients' trust.
The second part came a few days later, explaining why the name is spelled "Lite." When Litefoot onboards a new client, the process is thorough — gathering all network information, documenting everything, and diving deep into every problem. It takes time. But when it is done correctly, clients see Litefoot less and less until they rarely have to call. Things just work. The footprint in a client's business becomes very lite.
What the Litefoot Logo Means
"During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
The footprint embodies our mission: we carry our clients through their worst technology days. And we fix things so well that our footprint in your business becomes remarkably lite.
— Vince Brannan, Founder
Our Mission
To be the technology partner that carries businesses through their most challenging IT moments — delivering proactive management, enterprise-grade security, and complete peace of mind. We do it right, we do it at a savings, and we never lose sight of the trust our clients place in us.
Our Vision
A business community where every organization — regardless of size — has access to the cybersecurity protection, compliance expertise, and strategic IT guidance they deserve, without enterprise price tags or compromise. Where technology simply works, so our clients can focus on what they do best.
Our Core Values
These six principles guide every decision we make and every client relationship we build.
Stewards of Trust
Our clients trust us with their data, their operations, and their reputation. We take that responsibility seriously in every decision we make, every solution we recommend, and every interaction we have.
Leave a Lite Footprint
We do not believe in constant firefighting. Our goal is to fix things so thoroughly — to document, optimize, and secure so completely — that clients see us less and less. When technology just works, we have done our job.
Security Without Compromise
From Risk Intelligence and SIEM Monitoring to External Vulnerability Scans and Endpoint Detection & Response, security is not an add-on — it is woven into everything we do. HIPAA, NIST, and PII compliance is our baseline, not an upsell.
Plain English, Real Answers
No jargon, no runaround, no ticket numbers that vanish into a void. When you call Litefoot, you speak with a real engineer who explains things clearly and actually follows through.
Do It Right, Every Time
Shortcuts cost money and reputations. We take the time to understand each client's business, document everything thoroughly, and build solutions that last. Doing it right the first time is always cheaper than fixing it later.
Chattanooga Roots, Regional Reach
We are not a faceless national call center. Our team lives and works in the communities we serve across Tennessee. We are your neighbors, invested in your success because your success is our success.
Leadership Team
Meet the people who make Litefoot what it is — a team of experienced technology leaders committed to your success.
Vince Brannan
President
Litefoot's president, Vince Brannan, has a long history in the IT field, dating back to 1983. During that timeline, he worked for HCA in both the Chattanooga and Dallas locations. Vince progressed to Parkland Hospital and helped in implementing a multi-million dollar Stratus fault tolerant mainframe. Upon returning to Chattanooga in the mid nineties, he worked with both TVA and the EPB in interfacing their systems and testing their nuclear and fossil-fuel components. He would go on to work with the school system and was their director of IS for another 14 years. Vince has always been driven to help clients fill their needs at a fair price. This desire led to his founding of Brannan Systems that would eventually grow into Litefoot Technology in 2014. Vince's knowledge of the IT industry has helped Litefoot grow at a remarkable pace. The addition of knowledgeable sales professionals is helping Litefoot grow even more by offering managed services to his clients. It all comes down to knowledge and service at a fair price to help his client's businesses succeed in the digital world. All of this growth has not come at the expense of the human factor. Litefoot takes pride in giving the client a real person to talk to and solve their problems in a fast and fair manner.
